What is the best bang for the buck?
i had my license suspended a while back now am looking to get back into cars. i had a VW gti, but it didn't really hack it. Now i have saved up about $4,500 and i want to know what is the best bang for the buck

Do you want straight line performance or handling too? Import or domestic? Are you willing to work to make it fast/fun?
If you're looking for a fun ride: Miata
If you're looking for a fast ride: F-body or Fox Mustang
If you're looking for the total package: FC RX-7
If you're looking for the ultimate and don't mind working for it: Chevette with LS1 or Mazda Rotary and double-wishbone suspension
If you have more parameters it will be easier to give you more ideas.

this car is soley for being a totaly fast daily driver i just want something to start out on. i want the car to look decent, and i don't tend to like one car more than another. i just want something fast for the money. handling is o.k. but i don't really care about it.
