last i heard, they were going to call it the infiniti GT-R.

seems reasonable since the G35 is available in AWD this year. so, they are clearly moving in the right direction

in an attempt to redeem this thread, does anyone have knowledge of what the powerplant will be? I've heard both turbo 6 cylinder, and an OUTSIDE chance at a turbo 8.

Take a g35 here in the USA, and compare it to a NEW Japanese skyline.....they are the same car.

GTR on the other hand will be loosing the "Skyline" moniker, and will be known only as GT-R.

Clear it up?

And yes...2007 is the most currently correct date. Expect it to run well over $65k.

A current Skyline looks exactly like a G35....only it has badges that says "Nissan" and "Skyline" instead of "Infiniti" and "G35". No other differences than that.
