Just thought I'd let everyone know about this. GM is having their AutoShow In Motion at Tampa Mall off of MLK. You can test drive any of 150+ cars they have there. Corvettes, GTOs, SSR, H2, Mercedes', BMWs, etc. Totally FREE! My boss pre-registered, but they made it appear as though you can register at the actual event. Unfortunately you can only drive the Corvette, SSR and H2 only once, but can drive any of the rest of the cars as many times as you want. Best part is there are NO sales people nagging you to buy this or that so its a stress free test drive!

Times are 8:00am - 6:00pm Fri-Sun. Corvette, SSR, GTO and H2 close @ 5pm if I remember correctly.

I just got back about an hour ago and I had an absolute blast. Really cool event GM put together.

 

i gotz to be there tomorrow do they let you test drive alone ?

 

Yeah you drive alone, you don't leave the parking lot though. They have courses set up. They are only letting in so many ppl that didn't pre register so get there early. I got a card in the mail inviting me dunno why, so I'm scheduled for 11am tomorrow.

They have like an offroad course setup for the H2, etc.

Me and like 8 other people I know are registered for Sunday.

 

UGH i'm 19, that sucked, i went saturday, good thing my g/f is 21, i got to ride along , i had not idea you had to be 21 to drive.
