I think this new truck is mackin. It isnt really a concept, they have announced that they will release as an 05 model year. Base price is not announced but it comes stock with a V-6 with 240 hp with 275 torque and an optional trd supercharger is available that will boost the hp to 300 (imagine the torque numbers). I think the look is the best part and this paint is sweet. Company executives even had the audacity to say that the truck's handling characteristics were benchmarked against Nissan's 350Z.

are you sure that isn't a v8 putting out those 240 hp? cause that is what their v8 claims now

and the chassis is supposed to come off of the new model 4runners

I have a 2000 V8 tundra and at the time it was fastest in it's class. Now it has the least horsepower. The new nissan Titan has over 300. Hopefully they will add some more power soon.

 

motor trend test gave the nissan titan 1st honors ... tested against the tundra, f150, ram, silverado.

btw, that truck in the pic ... I don't like it.

 

That truck looks more american then japanese. Thats why i dont like it.
