That puts it between the 240 and Prelude.
To me I like the interior design of say a 94 cobra, I just don't like that there is plastic everywhere. Newer mustangs may not have a great inetrior, but it's not like a 240 or a prelude have better.

99+ GT is the newest and fastest out of all of those cars.

Either of the imports would need to have the engine bay gutted and swapped with something else to even be relatively fast.

Please dont jump on the 240 bandwagon.

It's not the quality. It's the ergonomics. I'm simply not comfortable driving a Mustang. I've driven SN95s, and later Cobras and the like. Same deal with all of them. The driving position is uncomfortable, and not what I want, the shifter's hard to reach...etc.

Not to mention the seats suck, the quality of materials even in the newest 'stangs is terrible, and I don't like the steering feel.

And yes, a Prelude IS better. The 240 is only marginally better.

as a daily driver i would look to see whichever one gets better gas mileage and is the most reliable... i have a prelude and know it requires 93+ gas which is a bitch but has been a pretty solid ride otherwise

i dunno, i love mustangs and if i'm lucky my next car will be one... but for a daily driver, i really think imports are superior. you're not looking for power and speed, you already have that in your other car. get something with decent gas mileage that won't start rattling after six months.
