The biggest downfall of owning an Eclipse is that it spends more time in the shop than on the road an you end up spending more money on them to be fixed then they are worth

I think we're both in the same boats here when it comes to blue book values.

And I agree, DSMs aren't necessarily as dependable as say a Honda...but then again, most any turboed and/or highly modified vehicle producing signigant amounts of power is going to be high maintenence. However, I probably know as many DSM owners who have had no problems as those who have.
