hows my REX look NOW???
here is the thing that i hated about mine, lol, i got a regular SIR(B16a) from the civic, not the xsi. anyway its a HUGE jump up from the stock HP, well here i am 1 year later, and im kinda bored with it, yeah i could boost, but im wanting a GSR boosted, that would be good for now, then ill change my mind about 1 year from then and want a jet engine strapped to it....
the best , id say as far as normal/daily driver, a B16(1st gen)
if you want more torque, id say a LS
if you want even more, a GSR
even more?, H22 which is kinda crazy in my opinion, but hey.
i have seen a mad stupid RWD made with a 350 small block V8, litterally spent $18,000 on that one, from what he said, he dont like driving it anywhere, bumpy as shit, cant turn really, no traction, and wished he hadnt ruined the crx for that.
all in prefrence

yea, you need an H22 w/ an LSD... then you can piss on the little guys w/ B16's and B18's... pluss the added weight over the front tires cant hurt, as far as traction goes.
yea, an H22 will probably ruin the handling and weight balance... but street racing doesnt normally consist of corners. its just who can get to point B first. an H22 will git'er done.
you may want to spend the xtra bucks for the engine mount kit if you arent the kind for cutting and welding. you probably wont have room for a PS pump or AC compressor but... thats a small price to pay for speed i guess. it just depends on what your priorities....
personally, ive gone a long time w/o AC and power accessories... so my supra is going to keep all the luxury items. Including the 70 lb, 8-way power adjustable seat
