I have not gotten anywhere yet. I tried to get a hold of AEM and left messasages. Racing zone told me to deal with AEM direct. Glen at Hybrid performance who has contacts with people from aem has not been able to help me yet. The car broke leaving his shop wendsday night. Hopefully he will look at it tomorow. He told me he is real busy. So i'm going to tow it there monday. So he can tell me what i already know. That my ecu doesnt work. Then i'm sure i'll overnight it to Aem and then pray i see it with in 2 weeks. I must say this is a $2,000 unit and I would have expected better customer service. I am hoping glen can help or i'll haveto start going back to miami to SFP. This whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Ron get a hold of Getrdun on here he has a good contact out there and maybe able to help you out but it seems aem may not be the best way to go as stand alone goes maybe hondata is the better route

Atleast you got to break it yourself. Try taking it somewhere, having them blow up your motor, and not paying a fucking dime for it.

Yeah, after the experience I had with Electromotive and all the bad luck I've heard from other vendors, I think my next system will be a Megasquirt. At least that way if something screws up, its very cheap and I only have myself to blame.
I agree with Spence. AEM's EMS is good but is it worth this? I see this happen all the time. Maybe it's a problem being worked on or maybe it was worked out? You can do allot with Hondata for $1,000.00 - $1,200.00 just not as much but you don't have to worry about your $1,300.00 ECU being fried. Hondata's only problem is the little 3,000RPM blurp.

We are the Official Hondata dealer in Tampa Bay, and can probabably help you out, especially if your car is driven on the street.
550whp front wheel drive street driven hondas are one of our specialties

Probably because John has known about this problem for a couple months if not longer and has figured out how to bring it to a bare minimum where the driver will not notice unless they are really looking for it
Another reason why I am glad we have John in our area.
