first i wanna thank TR for the website and the chance to talk to everyone around and get advice for free. second i was wondering why the real speed thread got locked? i read the rules and it does not appear any were broken. people were still talkin about it so why did it get locked?

I can only surmise that the thread was locked because...
A) There is no resolution that can be had between the parties discussing it. Since there was no representation from an employee of Real Speed Parts, the problem could not be solved. It was basically a huge debate over nothing
B) While Real Speed Parts is not a registered vendor with TR, vendor bashing is generally frowned upon. This is to be fair to all business' in the area, especially those unable to defend themselves.

i appreciate the response. but i dont see the defenseless company thing walt gets on TR all the time 8secbird. my speculation is walt asked to get it removed.ONLY guessing though.

While there definately was representation from Real Speed, both by Walt, and by one of his employees towards the end, I have seen threads get locked like this simply because they weren't going anywhere which I think was the case here. The word was put out, I think it's fair to say just about everyone read the story, and there really isn't going to be much more accomplished by the thread, that's probably why it was locked. Just my opinion though, what do I know?

The thread was just a back-and-forth between both parties. There was no resolution and it could have been handled further through PM's. If a resolution is found or someone is screwed further, feel free to post. The thread is there for all to see if they search so it serves its purpose.

cool thread is locked. fuck it two tears in a bucket. thanx for the replys. i guess it did serve its purpose and for that i am thankful. i hope no body else throws there hard earned money down the toilet.

Sorry I missed RSP's responses in the thread. I got too bored to continue reading. I don't believe anyone from RSP asked the admins to close the post. It was closed because as was mentioned earlier, there was no resolution, it was just bickering back and forth. We try to do this in fairness to everyone
