Default 95+ Explorer vs. 95+ Blazer

So, what are the pros and cons of each. Pretty much looking for all the options in both. Gas mileage, dependability, ease of maintence are all important. Which would you get and why? Any certain features you like/dislike about either? Any problems either are prone to? Thanks alot.

Ford all the way. I have a 1996 Ford Explorer that I drive to school and around town with 148,xxx miles on it and I have never had a single problem with it except for about a year ago one of the fog lights went out and had to get a new bulb. Other than that, NOTHING, whereas my friend's blazer is another story (it has had multiple engines; I'll say that much).

Also, the XLT interior of a Ford Explorer is wayyy better than anything I've seen chevrolet come out with. Seriously, I think my Explorer's interior is even better than something like the C5's interior.

Either really, but I think its more fair to compare the 4.0 to the 4.3. As of right now I am planning on going with probably a 98 4.0 Explorer.

I would go with the Blazer. My mother had a 93' and she drove it for years without any major problems.

Well from most people I've talked to, both are pretty reliable. No horror stories? (besides the explorers tires blowing or whatever-I won't keep the stock tires on there)

Does anyone know if Explorer's back seats fold down flat?
