So i have a friend who happen to be at the wrong place at the wrong time but i'll admit hes partially at fault. At the time he had recently moved to the area so he didnt know his way around or had many friends. He and a group of friends went out to the races from time to time and he just tagged along "to see". One Saturday night they ended up at a spot notorious for being raided by Tampa PD/Hillsborough County Sheriffs.

That particular night, they raided this spot, he and friends were there. Little did he know cops were already there on foot apprehending those who tried to get away. My friend started to run back towards his ride. At the sametime there was a TPD officer running perpendicular to him. Mind you my friend is 5'9-5'10 150lbs and im about the same maybe bigger. The cop and myt friend collided, falling both to the groud due the impact.

When they both got up my friend apologized and the cop did aswell. "Sorry sir it was an accident.." and the officer said "..yes i know son..but i still have to take you in..". Stunned my friend was cuffed and hauled away to the Hillsborough County max security jail, Orient Road. Upon arrival it hit him what he was being charged with, BATTERY ON AN OFFICER and RESISTING ARREST w/o VIOLENCE.

His mom/family were dually shocked due to the circumstances but still bailed him out and hired a lawyer. To cut the story short his lawyer/my friend pleaded NO CONTEST and my friend was sentenced to 18 months probation.

Was this just punishment?

i dont get it....was this another power trip by TPD and Mark Oberg

 

Unfortunately this goes to show you how unfair life can be. Basically "the man" has you by the balls.

 

that's fucked up man. i hope that cop gets syphilis of the eyeballs.

Back in the day, I NEVER ran to my car. Why? I always walked back to my car, waited for everybody to leave, and then kindly pulled out. Nothing ever happened to me. Why run? It's childish.
