i have no clue what its called, but some people call it a pimp switch. what it does is like make a whistling noise. its a push button attached to a siren type horn, like off a alarm. say u see a pretty lady, might wanna let her know ur there by giving her a little holla. only thing i cant find the damn things. anyone seen em around. my friend said they were sellin em out at the races in orlando a month or so back. let me know where i can get one at. thanks

put a switch inline to your alarm horn, so when you press it, the alarm goes off. if you do it correctly, it almost sounds like a cat call.

I just mean why would anyone market such a device? Modifying your alarm is one (silly) thing, but actually spending money to make a funny sound seems like a waste. If you guys like it, that's cool, I just don't get it.

its just a neat thing to have to see peoples reactions. girls love it. my buddy got one on his car, with the limo tint, so whenever he presses it at a cute girl, they giggle and try to get him to roll the window down.

that modification u told me to do, would that effect my alarm in anyway. i was also thinkin, im sure it would void my warranty on the alarm if i fucked with it. but i think i can buy a alarm siren, and a push button and itll work. anyone else think so?

thats all it is. you jut get the horn from an alarm, run a wire from the battery to the switch to the horn, the from the horn to the battery.

coo. u know where i can get a decent lookin switch? im thinkin like home depot or something. is there a specific switch i need or any switch will do?

radio shack. get one that can handle the voltage/amps your battery puts out, otherwise it'll just burn up. also, maybe run it from a 12 volt source besides the battery, something that's only powered when the car is on.
