i think you guys are seriously stupid if youre trying to drift on patterson.

none of you are good enough to, i know that for a fact.

i happen to be one of the most active drifters on this website ( i have the big smashed in left quarter panel to prove it) and i won't even slide those corners. it might rotate a little bit on me, but thats it.

i will and routeinely DO slide wayne road however. it's pretty fun up there, as well as a few turns from gunn / race track area and what not.

dade city is pretty fucking nuts. my car has a pretty good ' mountain' setup on it now, so i can grip or drift whatever. Grip is actually better for me since i dont' have the power to keep the car sliding at higher speeds.

i have looked for patterson before and it also doesnt show up on mapquest, anyone direct me to these places or other nearby roads?

out here in polk county theres usually just long deserted roads with nothing but a few semi's (except over winter break its probably best and even more deserted). most of those roads have big sweeping banked curves though very fun, deserted + higher speeds on those curves = fun. night driving is a little harder being there is wildlife out here in the 'un-city', but if anyone ever wants to come out here i have a few decent roads. you can get here 45 min from tampa or like 25-30 from brandon/valrico area.

also one great road behind my house, about 1/4 mile from chismoe's house, about 4 or 5 curves in sequence, awesome for kicking the end out, except it would be better if there spotters or something.

 

OK - search for Eagles golf course - it's the street you must take to get there

 

how about shady hills road in spring hill.. took that shit last nite.. damn that road is fun!

there are a few industrial parks too... i used to mess around in the lynmar place for a couple rounds on my lonely nights... as for wayne road... i wouldnt play there unless i had someone spot in front... and patterson road i have some footage from there if anyone wants to see what it is like "trying" to drift on that road... in anycase if you get serious about road racing i would honestly want some scouts on a few sections...

 

To many houses an traffic on patterson,i dont wanna be responsible for killing a family or somthing an im sure you guys dont ethier Patterson is only good for thoose late nite solo runs these days,im down for a group met anytime,i would prefer Brooksville or the dade city area(due to there some what remoteness) or i have actually found good roads in North Hernando and South Citrus county area on sunday drives.At the moment my Type R is set up perfect for some sprited driving.
