Sorry bro but white and amber are the only colors legal from the front of a vehicle and red and amber from the rear (white is only allowed in the rear as a tag light and reverse light).

Basically look at the colors from the factory and that is all that is legal.

Do you own a Torch Red FRC and tremble every time you drive under I75 on Hwy 60 and look in your rearview mirror? If so you are suffering from what is known as Cobraphobia.

The only car/truck I have seen that looks good with underbody lights is that caddy on that movie "malibus most wanted" that looked pretty good with the lights

Ok, benzoricerboy... it's time for some explanation...

it is tampaRACING.com.

Let's start with a definition for racing....

racing

n : the sport of engaging in contests of speed

Now, typical conversations you will find on tamparacing.com will involve talk about sanctioned racing events, vehicle performance (hp, suspension, brakes, weight reduction and the such. Anything that relates to a vehicle and it's ability to be more suitable for racing. (Talk of non sanctioned or street racing is normally discouraged as it draws attention of a kind that isn't desireable)

Now, let's look at these purple neon lights of yours....

do they increase horsepower?
no
more torque?
no
improve handling?
no
imporove braking?
no
reduce vehicle weight?
no
improve cornering ability (steady state or transitional)?
no
help the car put power to the ground?
no
improve acceleration?
no

so what do these lights do?

They make you look like a flaming homosexual driving around in your benzo.

Now, it's time for me to do some fortune telling......

You're gonna get all bent out of shape at all of us for making fun of you and tell us that it's your car and you're gonna do what you want. You're gonna go get your ass clown purple neon lights. Sometime withing the next 6 months the following events will probably happen... your car will be vandalized. your car will be broken into and your belongings stolen (possibly a system, cuz you're probably gonna get one of those too) and you'll get a ticket for having illegal lights on your car which you will come back onto TR crying about and we'll all make fun of you again.

Thanks for playing loser.

benz=classy
add neons= tacky

Like you said front. IF it is installed right no bulbs show so it is not illeagal. I fought it I should know. I also brought up the fact that limos and conversion vans ride around wit htheir blue rope lights inside of em visible while driving yet that was not illeagal. Like I said I fought it twice, but then again got a tciket for the blue LEd washers, which ididnt't fight cause I knew they were against the law.

It doesn't matter if the bulbs are visible or not only the light being visible. You may have fought and won on a certain statute but I can write on 3-4 different ones depending on the violation and I have yet to lose a single one.

Now having said that I don't write a citation if the person disconnects them immediately which most are glad to do (and if I see them again as i have they get a ticket).

I mainly am concerned with red and/or blue on a vehicle as it may confuse someone into thinking it is a undercover car (we have had situations of that).

LOL..... I think you should listen to Race495 I bet he has "some" experience with this I used to have a green set and a purple set under my old 3rd gen (yes, it was back in the late 90s ) and people loved it, NOT ONE person ever said anything bad about it. I always got complimnets everywhere I went. I also had tubes inside the car (4 diff colors) and I did get a ticket for a blue one

Its your car man, do what you want. You not out looking to impress the guys. I found that 99% of the people who are the ones to scream "Rice" are the ones who will never say anything in person, but to only their little friends theyre with.... never to the car owner
