a long time ago at my highschool, a kid i knew sold a mustang cam to a guy with a CRX...

He convinced the CRX guy that if he got the cam "ground down" that it would

A: fit in the CRX
B: Make the same 35HP gains as in a stang

ROFL!!

Cams cant make 30hp on an import??

I have seen cams on LS1s and 302s make over 100hp. Form just the cam alone.

yeah but there were mods too. I've never seen a cam that will add 100 hp on a stock motor, no matter what it is. He is talking about puttuing in a cam a basicaly stock motor.

Crower's New B Series VTEC Race Core
Crower is pleased to introduce a new high performance core for the twin cam B series VTEC engine platform. This new core features bigger secondary and primary lobes for unlimited spec and the ability to run outer lobes only, grinding away the mid lobe. The fact that Crower grinds the cams in house gives you the opportunity to mix and match profiles for your particular application. Other possibilities are bigger idle lobes for increased performance on the bottom end, through the switchover point and beyond 10,000 rpm on the big mid lobe. This core is for serious race applications. Prices start at $750 for catalog grinds listed below, and $850 for custom cams with outer lobes only.

Crower Acura B18A and B18B DOHC Camshafts (Non VTEC)
Put a little zip into your Acura LS/RS/GS (Non VTEC) with Crower's original line of chilled cast cam cores. Not regrinds of stock cores, but semi finished cores specifically designed for Crower that exceed factory specs for hardness and compatibility. Like all Crower cams, these are ground in-house at Crower. No more base circle problems typical with stock regrinds. Crower has developed several performance grinds from stock replacement, high performance street/strip, to full race (drag or road). Custom, proprietary race grinds also available. See below for dyno results on Crower cam #62403 vs stock cam (8% more hp), #62404 vs stock cam (16% more hp) and #62404 vs the hottest regrind (10% more hp).
