No doubt Nick, I was just asking to see if it had to be cut/welded, don't know how to do that shit. If I couldn't put on an exhaust myself, that would be a sad state of affairs. Someone brought this thread back from the dead though! But if it doesn't, me and my brother will swap the exhausts on mine and my friend's cars. Just gotta wait for my Skunk2 to get here!! And yes, hangers can make me want to take a hammer to the damn exhaust sometimes!

i wish i saw this sooner. the exhausts for gsr's are different, and the n1 from your 97 will not fit his 01. 94-99 gsr's all have the same exhaust size. in 2000, they changed the size of the cat on the gsr (to the same size as the 94-99 LS), so if you have a 00/01 gsr you have to buy a cat-back made for the 94-99 LS. ls and gsr's in 94-99 had different exhaust sizes.

ah, nick seems to argue. he claims to have done it, but i dont see how it would work. try it and see if it'll fit, i guess.

 

i also would like the know the answer to this. how much is custom 2.5" piping?
