Default blazers

Just had some questions about blazers. I was looking into getting one for a daily driver pretty much. Want a 98-00 probably but might settle for a 94+. I believe all of them have the 4.3L V6, right? Do any of them(all of them) have drums in the back? Are they reliable? Any usual problems? Thanks alot.

PM 93ex (jesse) he has one should know some stuffs about em.

i drove my dad's state issued law enforcement one. the 2dr's suck as far as having nasty blind spots but theyre real comfy and seemed to have nice steering. body roll was typical.

Its a nice idea, but I can get a blazer for like $5000-8000 easy. I don't think I can get a 97 4runner for $8000, can I?

you might be able to find like a 95 or something heh they keep their value.

but just if you get the blazer and get the v6 you can always engine swap they are fairly easily seen a lot of them done

I have a 96 jimmy SLT. Only problem I have had is the water pump. Ride is smooth and fairly quiet for a 96. I got mine for wholesale, but I think the going rate for great/mint condition with power everything and leather is around 5700.

Things like engine size and type of brakes per model year can easily be found using a search site such as www.google.com . I'm not sure that there are a whole lot of Blazer drivers on this website.
