Although I do not know who owns the Neon in question, I would think it's safe to assume there's a possibility there might have been some nitrous involved. Have you considered running a shot on your Lancer?

 

It was probably a dohc rt or something.My friend harry had a built head,clutch,lsd,and a chip and ran 13's all day on a sohc.If u build them right they can be some torquey bitches.

you guys are really too funny. I ran a 16 flat on the 1/4 mile at bradenton speedway one night and that was bone stock with just a short ram intake, believe it or not. To answer your question 02CavyZ24, it was dark outside around 12 and all i can see is that the colo was blue on the passenger side it didnt have black at all maybe on the driver side which i didnt see. For the other guys that keep talking shit, obviously you guys are hooked on knowing only about certain cars and what they yhave done to them and what they are capable of doing and you guys dont or wouldnt want to know about the base lancer because to you guys the evo is the way to go right? That is so ignorant, anyways i guess thats what you can expect from dumbass's.

does anybody know about that blue neon that 03lancer was talking about? and im talking about adult conversation here, no dumbass's please, just serious car talk. cuz i came across this neon too and it seemed pretty quick but obviously i took him no sweat, but he had something in that engine cuz there is no way he can keep up with my 240 the way he did. and plus the damn car was full of teens.
