carbureted forced induction
I have a Vortech on a Big Block Chevy but its fuel injected. If you run a carb you need to block the power valves and richen the main jets to compensate. Vortech and Paxton make a carb enclosure that you put the carb inside. It bolts on the intake manifold and the carb sits in there. They prefer you to pressurize the whole thing for effeciency.
To run the oil lines they tell you to poke a hole in the pan and tap it so you can screw in a fitting for the return. That is scary because of metal chips that are made from the tapping process could get in your oil pump and lock it up. I have a better method that I will be selling as a package for blower/ turbo return lines. Its an adapter that you weld to the pan and it uses an AN style fitting that allows you to use a 1/2" hose ( not included ). I sell it for $24 shipped. PM me if you are interested in the oil return line kit.
