It's so easy to use and the results are so far superior (especially on a dark car), I wouldn't use anything else. It's not time consuming really. Anyone who is concerned with time when detailing their car isn't really that concerned with the end result IMHO. End result > time.

I recently used the Meguiars steps to STRIP it down, because the claybar that came with the Zaino kit kicked my ass bad, and left streaks where it was un-even...probably my fault, but the Meguiars is much simpler. I then applied the Zaino wax and LOVE teh results. For the record, I think the Zaino spray/shine is the best on the market, we killed a bottle in no time at our house.

PS- My MKIV is also black, but I can only hope I can get it to gleam like yours in your sig, suprakid! Good job.

I usually sport the Mother's clay bar. I found the Meguiars one streaks alot, and I've never used the Zaino bar. Try the Mother's one next time...never had a streak out of that one.

The Zaino spray shit is the best, I love it.

Okay, so I didn't take great pictures (due to weather and whatnot), but you get the idea.

I've used Yellow Wax made by Meguiers since day 1. Original paint with over 130K miles.
