Just curious what physics class he took to form that logic.

Am I wrong, or would 2 fans in a row produce the same pressure as 1 fan? If you put a 200 cfm fan and a 300 cfm fan in a series, you get....200 cfm. If you put a 200 cfm fan and a 200 cfm fan in a series, you get 200 cfm. And powering them both would use twice the power, and with that being limited by the battery, it would run for 1/2 as long.

I hate to think someone would actually let someone hook that thing up to their engine on a Porsche. Maybe on my wagon, but on a Porsche? No chance.

It's a fan. It's not capable of compressing air. It's a battery powered "tornado"

My latest response to shoot down the 'believers' . . .

Well, if you are interested in the detailed but simplified physics of axial compressors here is a good place to start.

http://www.mas.ncl.ac.uk/~sbrooks/bo...05/node27.html

But the simplified power equation for any compressor is the flow rate times the pressure change across the compressor divided by the compressor efficiency.

Lets assume we are talking about 500 CFM, a pressure increase of 2 PSI and a pump efficiency of 80%. Such a pump would require over 5 HP or 4,000 Watts.

This promoter has already mentioned that his product draws about 55 amps on 14 volts which represents 770 Watts of power.

You do the math if you don't believe me. The numbers don't add up to anything that will amount to anything. This does not even concider that these fans are designed to move high volumes of air with very little pressure so they are not even suited for pushing air past serious restrictions.

These repackaged vent blowers barely have the power to flow enough air to keep them from becoming restrictions on the intake system.

With the science against him I can see why Zanick2 is already making statements like the following.

But the main thing is HP!!!! if we are getting HP to the whees as far as gains, who CAREs how we are doing it. it works. Thats why Im urging folks to show up at the dyno and see for yourselves.
The guy is either an ignoramus or a scam artist and I suspect the latter.

Anything over 40hp would be sucking in broken shards of those fan blades. What morons.

OMFG! This by far is the best:

If anyone wants to see some of the latest eRAM video clips, we have one of it running and inflating a 40 gal garbage bag vs a 1.5hp shop vac.
edit: oh, damn!

With solid physics like (electric s/c > shop vac > garbage bag) on their side you know they can't be wrong.
