Default tire squel

Why when you make a turn quickly the tires squel?

is it because of low air pressure
or just because the tires aren't gripping
or a reason i didn't list?

thanks
garrett

there's a turn I take coming home from work, and almost every time, my tires squeal, and I'm going like, 20mph.

Isn't it just a tire losing traction? that could be from low air pressure, or low tread, or just...being beyond the point that your tires hold. My tires have good tread, 30psi in every tire.

I've driven with 0psi in a tire before...fortunately it was a run-flat, and I didn't realize it until at least 300 miles or so. I kept putting air in...and it kept leaking out. Eventually someone told me when I went to get 4 new tires, that I had a run-flat tire, and it was flat.

theyre never answered because anyone with COMMON SENSE would figure it out themselves....somtimes its because of low pressure.....and somtimes its grip.....just imagine how your rubber sole tennis shoes squeek on highly polished floor

just use your common sense

Maybe

Yes, they will squeal if they start to lose their grip.

Shouldn't the question be "why are they losing their grip?"
Several answers for that. Low air pressure, high air pressure, rubber too soft, rubber too hard, improper alignment, chassis setup. It's something trackers spend the whole season adjusting.

As you know, the earth used to be covered with volcanos and dinosaurs.
