Your trying to use the stock tranny from your car?

I have to use the stock tranny from the car. There arent exactly too many tranny's out there that mount in the rear of the car. The drive line of the car goes something like this:

engine->torque t00b->tranny

Hmm, sorry don't know too much about Porsches. I know people have done the swap before though.

How about a 944 turbo (951) engine? I have heard of some people getting some pretty big numbers (400hp+) by upgrading the turbo on the 951. Also know that by keeping at "Porsche" you will keep your conversion costs down. Make sure your ground straps are in good shape if you are having issues.

If your set on a engine swap - maybe look at : www.pelicanparts.com and www.rennlist.com and check out the 944 forum sections.

I'm with g-50. It would be easier and cheaper to do up an old 944 turbo motor than try to couple up some other engine to the drivetrain.
