Default Switches......

I was at a car show the other and I saw a guy with a car that had a pretty cool idea. He had switches controlling a lot of things. He had a swicth for his head lights, windsheild wipers, and amp, all mounted in his dash. I saw them in auto zone for like $10 each.I thought It was really cool. Has anyone ever done this or how hard it would be to install. It looks like the flip swicth people use to turn on the there NOS.

Yeah, you wouldn't want to turn those windsheild wipers on accidentally, better buy the NOS switch for protection.

My car came from the factory with switches for all that stuff...even has a key for the ignition switch for theft deterrent.

Actually, if you take a look at some of the 50's & 60's imports like Triumph, MG, Austin Healy, you'll note that the switch overkill thing has already been done.

why have all those swithces? They integrated all the swithes into the turn signal handles and the wind sheild wiper handles whatever you call them. I mean usually in "race" cars that have windsheild wipers the dash comes over to the side. like a h1 hummer or something (that is a good example I can compare it to a street car) but but in nascar they have the toogle switches sorta of like the ones in a f16 (i belive they are in there) ask "TONY"

If you want a lot of switches just get an airplane, i dont see the big deal about having alot of switches.
