I say cobra. Most powerful, most room, full warranty. If not I'd go with a RX8, but I am a little biased myself. 1BFC has it right though, you need to decide what you want from this vehicle. Daily driver? Going to be modded? Taken to the track? How long will you keep it? What type of driving it will get, etc.

 

I would say go with the cobra and dont let it be a convertible...Why an Automatic?

 

Drag yourself over to Brandon Ford and go look at the few white and yellow Mach 1's they have left. Note that there are 2 automatic Mach 1's on the lot...1 of each color.


Anyway, it's a tough call. 04 Cobra for its brute force or a 350Z/G35 coupe for its nimbleness. Personally, the Cobra would win out for me as it starts out with a better power plant with way more potential thus far. You can always add suspension to the car to suit your taste and driving style.

 

2003 Trans Am..... they don't make those anymore, they stoped in 2002... and they only made 1500 for the last year. ( trust me i know i had to drive to Dallas to buy my 02)

 

04 Cobra, it has looks, power and handling all with a warranty.

 

I guess my number one concern with a car is uniqueness. I hate having a car eveyone else has. Number 2 is power I guess. I just know today I went out for lucnh and saw 4 G35's in like 15 minutes. Saw 1 350z (in my parking garage). I saw 1 03 cobra this morning and I have never once seen a mach 1 out on the road. So unless the g35 has something incredible about it that I can't live without I'll prolly get the mustang. I drove a 2003 GT last week kuz their mach 1 was getting service. My first time ina newer mustang. I dream about it every night still. That's a good hint...

 

I would say go Roush but you only have 40k to spend........
Would solve the uniqness problem....
