This is my friend davids car. He doesn't know to much about it all and would like some help. He is able to read the posts but not able to respond and I will be responding for him.

This is what he got done so far

 

engine I belive it is a d16 sohc

 

He would like to know what he is possible to do with his vehicle. He isn't looking for anything to expensive. He is looking into getting some eibach springs. I also mentioned to get some energy suspension bushings.

Would anybody else know what he can get?

i wouldnt bother with bushings at this point, more hassle then they're worth for his application. the easiest thing he could do is relieve drivetrain stress by changing those wheels out to something smaller/lighter. get a decent exhaust. decide a budget. post the budget.

 

That thing looks quick, i would leave it where its at, anything more and he is going to need a roll cage.

 

on topic ... price range would be nice if hes got a couple grand i say go for a custom turbo setup. Used turbo, and ive heard those cai pipes can come in handy when doing plumbing. Overall cost should stay low since its not a high boost project just a thought

 

lower it, take the door edger thingies off......fix the front bumper, take the front license plate off.....paint the plastic sideskirts.... exchange for 00 Si tails ......thats the begginning....i wouldnt even bother modding the engine

 

If I was him i would do B20 swap with a B18c5 head. Which would make his car very fast like low 13's fast. Or I just would do ls-vtec swap. That is a b18 block with a b18c1 head. Good luck with the car.
