Default Test drove some mini's!

Those things handle like go karts! we took out the cooper S and the john cooper works S(smaller pulley, exhaust, chip, p&p - an extra 30whp). We had three people in the car with A/C blasting. The S felt ok, comparable to stock 1.8t. And the modified S felt like a chipped 1.8t. All without the boost lag. I was very impressed of the torque, there was a lot at very low Rpms. The options are endless, seats and carpet are sweet! my favorite was the two toned blue/black with blue carpet. The nav system is a screen that takes the place of the monster Speedo and puts a smaller speedo next to the tach, which is very cool. I loved the car, very roomy for how small it was. Trish was playing with all of the buttons and gadgets haha. The sun roof was HUGE. We went to ferman and the salesman was super cool with me driving it/flooring it. I even spun the tires a little leaving the dealership..

The only thing i didnt like was the clutch, which could be due to the fact that the car i was driving was a dealer car and has been test driven by young girls who were just learning how to drive stick.

i did a little online research and found some cool sites and pics:

I thought they were cool as hell the first time I saw one at Reeves in Lakeland. I haven't got the chance to drive one yet, but I would imagine they handle like they are on rails. I just saw the Italian Job the other day and it made me really want a mini, haha.

I think he was talking about the Cooper S, not the JCW Cooper S. Those numbers sound right for the JCW S.

Is the "John Copper Works Mini Cooper S" sold by the dealerships and covered under warrenty? I didn't see it listed on the Mini.com website. We're considering one of these to replace my wifes RSX and the JCW package is swaying me even further. Does the JCW has any suspension upgrades over the standard S?
