I was in a 04 silver toyota corolla ce.I was geting spanked by v8s all nite.My very last run was up against a red latest gen prelude 5 spd.I beat him,it felt good my rec for tonite was 1-10.Heres what me and the lude ran.Ill scan the slips tomorrow.

Im 100% bone stock,35 psi all in tires,and a 2liter of coke of the car ^_^.

my car does 63mph in 2nd and i had to shift to 3rd right before the finish line.

 

god i'd be freakin embarassed if i was that prelude, what a terrible RT and 60 foot....

 

I have noticed that anytime I go to a track event that is not a "Big" event, that no one is good at reaction times. I was really shocked at the dsm shootout last year when there were very few good drivers there. Of course this is not including the big names.

My first time to the track I was cutting .600 lights .700's were my bad ones.

Is reaction times just something that people don't focus on anymore.

 

was it a red lude that said prelude on the top of the windshield with dark windows and an asian kid driving? cuz this kid at my school ran last night..he has a red 98 lude and it is auto..but he isnt that fast. is this it?

 

ya he was asian,might of had blond highlights,stock muffler

 

ya slow is believable

 

if those were my times i wouldnt have made this post and would quit racing.

 

No offense, but why bother racing a stock commuter car? Are you putting some serious mods into it and this is a baseline run to compare or what?
