Where is the best place to get a decent quality battery for my girls 4Runner today ?

 

I never had any problems with DieHard, but Optimas are supposed to be the best. PepBoys carries Optima.

 

Interstate batteries

 

I just got a Die hard from Sears. Inter State are also good batteries as well. they have 3 different DieHard line, GOld being the best. it was ballpark around $55.

I have had 3 Redtop Optimas in the last 3 years. for the $109 that they cost, i saw no significant worth. Thier only good point is that they are sealed and use Gel, not water. they do not leak, Period.

Each red top lasted me an avg of 1.5 years. I wont be buying another one soon.

 

i think the yellow top is the one to get... That is the one all the car audio people use... Ive never used one.. All I know is the hear-say about them

yellow tops are deep cycle batteries. I dont think Zate needs deep cycle battery.

I know some guys use them for primary batteries, but they aren't starting batteries.
