Tires?
Alright, tonight the tread started coming off of one of my tires so I guess it is time to get new ones. What are some of your favorite tires that are reasonably priced? Right now I have the Khumo Ecsta Supra 205/40/17.

I absolutely loved my BFG G-Force KDW's. They had great wet/dry traction, and at the time I purchased them they were dirt cheap. 2 years later BFG bumped up the price about 60%...so I guess they are no longer too affordable.
You'll find everyone has a different opinion on "good" tires. I purchase my last set of Falken Ziex on recommendations from about 10 people. I fucking hate these tires. They perform horribly in dry weather, and are mediocre at best in wet weather. Remember, you do get what you pay for. I cheaped out on tires, and now I'm wishing I shelled out $100 extra for something much better.

Well, my car isnt some incredibly high powered speed machine. It is just a hatch with a B16 with h/i/e it is also my daily driver. So I guess I would be looking for a tire that would handle well on the road...both wet and dry are important. I also take my car out to the track every once in a while, so something that could handle a trip or two down the track would be good. I called Tire Kingdom about the khumos today and they run $110 each. So, I guess that is about the price range I am looking at.

Yeah, I had no problems with my khumos. I was just wondering if there was something else I should try. I know Tire Kingdom is raping me with their price, but I really need to get my car back up and running. How long does it usually take for the Tire Rack to get your tires to you?

tirerack, from my experiences, takes anywhere from 1-4 days. i cant speak for anything they dont have in local stock, but thats a frequently used size and tire. its a really nice tire for a daily driver, I've had a set (from my civic hatchback) and was very pleased with them.
