Default Car alarm question

Does anyone know why a car alarm (alarm and auto. door unlock) would just stop working? I checked the battery and some other things, but all searches came up negative. Is there a main box I need to check? Ive never fcuked with any alarms so Im totally in the dark, so any help would greatly be appreciated.

-Jayson

PS: I hate locking and unlocking my car with the key

check your battery in your key remote, and check your fuses. is your kill switch on? and yes there is a main box, but depending on what brand it is, some boxes have fuses in them, others have them inline with the wires.

take it to Monster Madness Customs across the street from the post office on Belcher they'll take care of ya if you can't figure out the alarm yourself

The remote is fine, i wish that was it. But its an older Clifford model, and there are no designated fuses in either box for the alarm. As for the Valet switch, it never really did anything

EDIT-
Anyone got the addy for the place mentioned above??

there is probably a inline fuse holder, your prolly just gonna have to trace the power wire and find that fuse and check that. or if you've had it for a really long time maybe it was just time for the alarm to go. might think about investing in a viper or something like that.
