"It causes better fuel atomization, resulting in an increase of gas mileage anywhere from 7-28%"
Ok now how in the hell is it going to atomize fuel better... Think about it. That thing is causing turbulent air which will fuck up your MAF readings (your maf screen is there to smooth things out). So its spinning the air but any kind of spin is negated by the time it reaches the combustion chamber with all the turns, curves and bends. This tornado concept actually does work but only when the device is directly next to the combustion chamber. You dont want turbulent air... thats why your intake is smooth.
Oh and I really hope u paid attention to their dyno test shown on TV.
For $100 dollars can anyone tell me what was wrong with it?!?!! and no im not really giving u a $100 bucks.

I've got an idea. I could market a restrictor plate that narrows the size of your intake path to the size of a quarter. "Your engine gets less air, and the less air it gets, the less gas it burns! Imagine the savings!" Then I could add some bs about increased air velocity giving more power or something. How many thousand units do you think I could sell if I had a cheesy infomercial on late night cable? 10000 units? 25000?

I don't see a value in increasing from 23 to 26 mpg. I could get that just by laying off the gas, staying under 80 on the interstate, smoother acceleration, less A/C, correcting my tire pressure, changing my oil, replacing the air filter...
Sounds like what it amounts to would be forcing you to do the maintenance on your car that should be done, which is what actually gives the mpg gain. Just like a diet plan that requires you to excercise a certain amount for it to work. It's not the diet, it's the excercise.
