Default Best way to remove tree sap?

I cant figure out how to get this tree sap off my car. It is been sitting for about a year and there is dried up sap all over the car. I am considering just to paint the car since nothing I do seems to get this crap off.

Try Goof-off. I used it to remove the pinstriping on my old car and it didnt hurt the paint at all. Just make sure to wax afterwards.

try goo-gone or I know that paint thinner will work, but use small amounts and put some wax on afterward.

also... I know a guy who swore that RainX worked but I never tried it.

You can try using Turtle Wax rubbing compound for Clear coat. That what I use to get stains off my paint. But make sure you use wax after that.
