cleaning painted wheels

Default cleaning painted wheels

anyone have any suggestions on cleaing painted rims i juss painted myne yesterday but went through lil bit of muddy watert and that isht aint vcoming off any sugesstions let me know thanx

its not coming off when u scrub it? were they still wet or somethin? there is mcguires hot rims. i used that on my old rims and u spray on and let sit then hose off and all the brake dust and dirt comes off.....that is if its not embeded in the paint of course. so im sure if they were still damp enough u got it lodged in the paint.

If you dont want to remove your piant, try MOTHERS CLEAR COAT WHEEL CLEANER.

its not sold at every shop, and it may take some searching to find it, but any place can order it for you and you can pick it up in a few days.

I have a bottle of it.

Fresh paint can take days to weeks to fully cure.

If you got something nasty on it the day after having them painted you may not be able to clean the discoloration it left behind.

If you get this problem fixed, next time give the wheels a little more time before you dirty them up.
