G-tech accuracy?

Default G-tech accuracy?
Has anyone put one of those g-tech hp,1/4,mpg blah blah blah things to the test before? By test i mean dyno and compare results to whatever was given by the g-tech thing.

1/4 mile times are very accurate. Usually right on or within a 1/10.
Mph is always too high. if you trap 100mph at the track the Gtech will usually show 102-104mph.

I've done about 20 runs at the track comparing the gtech vs the track ... Ive found it to be usually .1-.3 off either faster or slower, and usually about 2-5mph higher traps.

found it pretty close, but the dyno part was way off, said I had 178 ponys at the wheels

The Pro Comp is $250. I wanna give that one a try myself. I used the old one. new one seems a lot nicer since you need to be level

From what I have read on a few other boards and heard first hand they are often over 10% off.

For a measuring instrument that sucks.

i tried it down at the track to. mine were all w/in .2 of my time, mph were always w/in 3-4 mph too. they aren't that bad, pretty accurate i'd say.
