I'm asking this for a freind. Her parents just decided to buy her a 94 volvo 940 turbo. This friend also wants to race, she had been looking at a Grand prix GTP. Then ended up with a volvo instead, well i guess what I am trying to ask is if anyone has any ideas on what she can do for performance. She's only 16 so not outrageous with an engine build, bigger turbo, with a lil n20 on top.

I know she should not race it, but she has her boyfriend who wants to put in homemade electronics, that will hopefully increase h/p. Simply by advancing ingnition or tricking the computer on the boost. Of coarse he says if the service engine light comes on, he will just remove it. I just need to prevent that but if i dont know of any way to make it a racer, well more like a ricer no offense. But he lets her believe with the addition of a neon and sound system, she is soo much cooler and faster, she can just beat everything out there. He also has her convinced she can stay next to me in a race, 94 volvo 940 turbo stock---98 camaro z-28 a few mods. So ideas are welcome, please no bashing, I've done enough

 

thats probably why her parents bought the volvo, they didnt want her to race. and if her or her boyfriend think shes gonna take out an LS1, you better smack the hell out of them because they dont know shit. it would take more money than they are willing to invest to beat your z-28.
