NEED NEW CAR THREAD..heres what i want:
I really want to get rid of my car, i need more space and cheaper insurance, ive been looking aroudn but i cant find anything that really screams my name....my ideal car would have the following:
1. 4 Doors
2. Manual Transmission
3. RWD or AWD
4. Boosted...or be ABLE to boost.
5. Have enough room to be able to move shit around in. (maybe even a wagon)
heres a few cars that came to mind:
1. WRX Wagon (insurance would kill me...and its too new and more $ than what i wanna spend)
2. Regular WRX (see above)
3. Mazda MP5 (FWD + motor not strong enough to boost and create nice power)
4. VW Passat Sedan or Wagon (turbo, 5sp, but FWD!)
5. VW Jetta Sedan or Wagon (turbo, 5sp, but FWD!)
so i really dont know...lol...someone give me a hand here.

You mentioned the Protege5, what about the Matrix? Sport Compact Car has one they have done a turbo install on. I'm sure you could read up about how it is handeling the boost, it just wouldn't meet the RWD/AWD requirement.

I would say GSX Ecplise... not much to choose from when you want cheaper insurance (which I can relate to
)
but eclipse doesn't have 4 doors.. I've seen a couple of A4's go for 8-9
Grab yourself an Autotrader mag. and look through it, its alot better than looking through online which you can only look through the types of cars that pop into your head, never know what you can find
