Saw this thing while I was on a mission in NC sittin outside a McDonalds. It has all the same guages on the dash that the normal turbo beetle has. I hope he really has a Carrera engine in it, if so that would be a kick as bug ass. If not than he is gay for disgracing the Carrera name .

It also has a carbon fiber hood but I didn't get a pic of it, we were kinda in a hurry, lol. BTW these were taken with my phone so it isn't the best quality, sry.

And yes, thats a giant thick chrome fart tip I could stick my fist in poking out the bottom of the back bumper, complete with altezza lights and all . Wish I coulda talked to the guy to see what he really has .

er - VW bug - new ones anyway - front wheel drive, front engine - Carrera - rear engine, rwd.

Looks like he got a Carrera plate from e-bay... Well at least he can dream right?

 

Theres an AIT kid on base that has a white 95 mustang with a big Type R sticker across the front wind shield. I never really understood why people put Type R on everything.

 

there's a guy in California with a porsche turbo engine in a new beetle.. So it's possible. Those engines are not big by all means..
