Default R.I.P. My Struts :(

E-braking the sunfire..... eat curb....... death to struts.... lucky only lost the strut because i nail this curb and scraped the alloy wheels to shit and scraped the subframe. Tire Kingdom gave me $300 est. for 2 new struts and an alligement(sp?). Is $300 a reasonable price considering it will prolly involve removing my cv axle and some other stuff? Please dont laught at my plite. Im dumb and shouldnt have been trying to drift a ff. But thats my fault and iam going to stop after i get it fixed.

Well, I am glad you learned your lesson but you could have much more to worry about than just the strut and an alignment.

$300 for 2 struts? I paid $350 for a full set of adjustable aftermarket struts.

but did you do the work and what about an allignment? If so where did you get the struts? I think it might be cheaper to buy struts and pay them to put em on and allignment... what do you think?

it all depends what other kind of damage you have. if you bent/broke your control arms or cv axle.....it's gonna be more. if you just need new struts and an alignment....it'll be cheap, and you can do the struts yourself. and alignment shouldn't be more than like $70
