buying a new car is tough
I test drove and checked out dozens of cars, tomorrow is go time. I can get a 03 cavilier for 8400 after 2599 down and trade in..or i can get a lancer for 9k with the same as above. Then the echo is around 10k. I deliever pizzas for a living, the cavilier is by far the fastest and funest to drive. The lancer is pretty decent everywhere and the ehco is good on gas and is a toyota. So what do you guys think?

Ask taylor at Secret Services.. he used to work for a salvage company, he told me that EVERY SINGLE J-body that was in an accident (which a cavaler is) that he had to salvage had blood marks in it, and nobody had survived...
Also look at JD power and associates.. the cars are crap. you'd be better off with a freakin 70's MG or something.... Dont get the cavaler, its a rolling coffin

try the honda civic, or if youre worried about gas, that hybrid car that gets like 60 mpg. honestly. IMHO all those cars are enourmous pieces of crap.

Personaly I can't go with any "Import". They state that they have higher quality, but they tend to hide their recall number's and quality concearn's. Although their quality is on par with American car's, I can't go with company's that hide the fact's.

Quality is what is precieved by the general public

Figure mass numbers. Imports and domestics can both be reliable and can both be shitty. For this application, an import could be very practical, in the sense of safety, RESALE VALUE, and gas milage. Try looking up recall numbers, see how many WERE NOT ANNOUNCED from ANY american car company.
Way to turn yet another thread into ignorant domestic driver giving the rest of us a bad name
