So far so good though.
By the way, the A/C in it works great after recharging it.
Probably going back too far for you guys but...
60 Chevy. Great car. Easiest car in the world to work on.
66 Rambler. Tranny died after 10 years.
89 Ford Escort. Started being a money pit after 50K
97 S-10. Beat the shit out of it but it's still going after 80K
97 Viper GTS. 30K track miles and never a wrench on it.
98 Viper RT/10 70K hard miles. New timing cover gasket at 30K.

I have owned two cars so far, only been driving for 3 years now if you count the 15-16 period of learner's permit.
94 Honda Accord DX 5 spd- Fairly reliable four door family car. My dad bought this one new and opted for the total stripper, the only option it had was A/C and I think that may have been installed at the dealer but I'm really not sure, it didn't even have a radio though. The only maintenance he had to do to it up to the time he turned it over to me was basic oil changes, and I think it needed a new axle or something at one point. I got it at 120000 miles and sold it at 127000 miles after driving it for a year and a half. The car obviously had a cheap interior, being the base model, it had no power features, it did have a decent stereo but I installed it when I got the car. There were some minor squeaks and rattles, nothing major. During the time I owned it I had to do something like 2000 dollars of maintenance, mostly replacing stuff that was breaking due to the mileage on the car, but it was all very annoying. Other than that, it was a reliable car, great for learning to drive a 5 speed on, but way way too slow and no cheap ways to make it faster. I sold it at auction after it developed a mysterious electrical problem and about 2k miles from needing a clutch job (original clutch), because at the time I was disgusted with the amount of money I'd had to spend repairing it- most of the 2000 was in the last 6 months of ownership.
1992 Plymouth Laser AWD- I just bought this car a month and a half ago, and I can't comment on it's reliability. The last owner was a dipshit and it was mistreated, so far it hasn't been at all reliable because of this. The only problems I've found so far that I can't blame on the previous owner are the idle surge, the lifter tick though mine's not bad, and the valve cover gaskets that need replacing. I'm not going to judge the car until it is up and running with everything fixed.

1990 Pontiac Bonneville = went through three alternators and two batteries and the freon leaked out of the a/c constantly....interior went to shit.
1995 Pontiac Grand Am = went through two alternators and two batteries....interior went to shit.
1999 Plymouth Breeze = all the windows leaked, flooded my car from leaking water from the windshield....paint was rusting off after 6 months....interior sucked.
1995 Acura Integra = brake master cylinder went out at like 80k miles, tranny has needed to be rebuilt three times (due to bad rebuilds the first two times and the fucking tranny shop not using Honda ATF)....interior still looks brand new.

93 toyota camry = awesome fit and finish and quality, power steering rack leaked and was replaced, plastic door handles on exterior were only part that gave me trouble. they liked to crack and break, very brittle after 7 years in the florida sun. motor ran fine, other than routine maintenance like oil seals and such.
97 nissan 240sx = fit and finish isnt up to par with toyota or honda, but still acceptable. dash parts after 5 years in the sun very brittle, but could be me being hard on taking them in and out.
no mechanical problems as of yet, besides one a/c line leaking and needing a recharge, and the routine maintenance
97 honda integra - fit and finish awesome, might be slightly less than toyota, but to normal consumer, dead on par (normal consumers dont take out panels and such to clean and notice the fit and finish issues), mechanically great, with mild mods, easy to work on, clutch master cylinder needed replacing, other than that runs great.
97 chevy lumina - interior was typical GM plastic pos, but was actually decent material that stood up to everyday driving and wasnt too bad. motor was doing alright, but it was traded in before it got too old anyways.
2000 camry - toyota gets better and better as the years go on. this car runs liek a champ, could run it into the ground.
2002 tundra - same as above, but in truck form. 2wd version so dont know how off road 4x4 models hold up but its definately sturdy and rides like a car, but has the power and truck capabilities. first time having a v8 in quite a while, so the mpg feels shitty compared to past vehicles.
2000 ford crown vic - has state law enforcement package, been repainted at states decision, paint was good though before. no major problems as of yet and reaching 100k very fast being a state car and such. 4.6 mod motor has guts but pig weight of the crown vic doesnt make it a screamer.
199x ford bronco - previous state car, POS, interior was vinyl seats and floor because of police package, but i hear they came in that trim actually. went through a motor or two, and a few trannies. paint was fading fast on hood and rear 'topper' portion. got repainted.
1999 chevy blazer - very decent for state car, power was okay, 2 door version had major blind spots, 4 door was a little better. body roll king. paint and motor was great. gm interior.

1st car= 83 firebird, POS i had to replace the engine with one from a camaro, still ran like shit. but i loved her, she was my first car and i washed her all the time.
2nd car= 91 mazda 626, POS, this car only took 9 months of me beating on it before it had all kinds of problems.
3rd car= 95 honda accord, PERFECT, i have beat the shit out of this car every day since i bought it back in 98 and she still runs good. only a/c problems. i would not be mad if she quit working as much as i've beat on it.
4th car= 90 honda crx, perfect, but i totalled it after a month of owning it.
5th car= 91 honda crx, still working out the bugs............

This is the internet. You're just supposed to talk up whatever you do know as if you're a salesman for it. i.e. I drive a Supra and a Corolla therefore 2JZ is the greatest and so is the 4A and I don't care about anything else because it's all crap since I don't have it. I also have a stack of $20 bills in front of me, therefore 20>50 and 20>100 and 20>1000. $20 bill FTW.
88 volvo= that car was tough.
i didn't have any problems with it, but i also didn't even have it for a year.
when i got into my accident, it held up pretty well, too.
2001 VW GTi= so far, so good. no major problems. the window regulators were screwed up, but they're fixed now.
i've had it for two years, so far.
great car.

1999 Chevy Silverado LS - Again another shitty transmission, reliable motor. Great ride, comfterable interior. Only problems were the annoying factory alarm going crazy, transmission getting stuck on one gear.
1999 Corvette LS1 - Piece of shit transmissions....poor interior design. Quick, not reliable though. More time at the shop than on the road. Bad belt tensioner @ 20k miles, transmission getting stuck on 2nd gear all the way from the keys (4 tanks of gas to get back), Abnormal O2 sensor malfunctions..... quick car though for not many mods.
1988 Toyota Supra - Awesome interior design, not reliable for shit. Quick.
1998 Supra - Haven't had it long enough to say much about it but all that have sat in it can agree the interior design is the shit, comfterable....... so far no complaints.

88 Prelude- slow, expensive parts, went through 1 head, 2 trannies, 2 radiators, alternators, and other misc parts.
89 Prelude- low miles, slow, hard to reach parts, went through 3 clutches, 2 trannies, alternators, 3 starters, etc.
89 Mustang- Cheap parts, fast, reliable, easy to work on, in over a year and a half all i have had to replace was a alternator.
