How To Destroy A Porsche 911
LOL, pure unadulturated porsche abuse.

Poor 911, but I was hoping for some addtional abuse before they dropped it from the crane.
It certainly is a good testmony for the durability of the car.

Both the shotgun blast and the piano drop demonstrate how thick the sheet metal is on the car.
It also makes the car pretty resistant to door dings too.
And to think that my 930 has even thicker sheet metal than that old 70s model that they decimate.

Does anyone know WHY they decided to destroy the car?? Maybe I missed something in the download, but there didn't seem to be any explanation.

I believe he is a British auto journalist for the BBC.
Apparanly they have done a series of shows where he puts down and destroys a variety of sports cars.
Yeah, I too noticed they pulled the drivetrain out before dropping it. Depending on which motor and tranny it had in it that they could fetch enough money to buy yourself a nice american muscle car.
The car was probably just a nice looking rust bucket.
