After pulling my old motor I noticed how bad my drivers side header looked. I was going to try and sell them but the one looks horrible so I would like them to look better before I try to sell them. What if anything can I do to "clean them up"?

 

My MAC's looked the same way.

I actually sold mine for like $50 looking like that.

Only the drivers side looks like that. The passenger side isnt half as bad

i bought mine (mac shorties) uncoated and not chromed ... im just gonna repaint them with high heat black when they start lookin bad, but they still look good after about 4 - 5 months

sandblast them then paint them !

 

go to walmart and get the chrome spray paint and go to town!

 

Heh, good call. Wither that or take em for sandblast, or just get busy with some sandpaper and clean em that way! All american sandblasting and powdercoating on bearss between nebraska and skipper is supposed to so a real good job.
