Yep - she's taken - sorry dude.

FWIW - the bike is ours together- kind of like a joint effort so to speak. We have a few nice rides in the driveway....

Usually I just toss a coin in the morning j/k

Honestly - I drive the Saleen most of the time. The 95 is in the shop for a couple more months. I bought it brand new in 95 and its what got me started with the Mustang fix. I've been through a lot with that car. It won't be done for a few more months - its at Need 4 Speed - should be pretty mean when its finished.

The 93 I've only had for about a month. I always wanted a FOX body and found a great deal on it that I couldn't pass up for a car with all it has got done to it. It has a few little things wrong that I'm fixing on it - which is why I don't drive it as much yet.

I don't drive the "L" that often - mostly just if I need it to haul/carry something or if we decide to swap cars for a day or something.

And, we just got the motorcycle last week and I've never had a bike so we're more or less learning before we start taking it out regularly.

I have also passed that 5.4 Boss Yellow/Black F150. He was at the gas station on the corner of Beverly one day and I had a look inside as I was getting out of my car. Looked like he had a bottle sitting upright between the seats. With the big anodized knob on top of it. Havent had a chance to run him yet but Ill eventually catch him.

I'm seriously considering picking up a lightning within the next few months. Whats going rate for them? So far i have seen low 20k, but im trying to find one under 20k.

Maybe once the new body style comes out the 99's and 00's will become even cheaper .

Keep searching. My best advice is to look for one out of state or up north. I PROMISE they are out there for less than 20k. We found Dara's L for $18,200 in OH several months ago. It was worth it to drive up there and get it considering we couldn't find one for less than $21k locally in good shape.

Plus, it already had all the mods it has now, had fairly low miles, and was in PERFECT shape.

I tend to buy sports cars/trucks in the winter and go up north for them. When its snowing and cold, demand for them is down up there and people can't drive them as much so they will get off them a bit easier. Its easier to get someone down on a price on a car they can't drive at the time and has less demand in the area.

Check out the autotrader, f150online.com classifieds, fordtruckworld classifieds, etc.

Thanks for the advice. Once the bimmer is sold i will probably wait about a month or so until i pick one up. I never thought about flying up north to pick one up, but now that i think about it, it would be a pretty sweet roadtrip.

If anyones interested in a bimmer let me know!

one thing about the 99-00, the Valve body on the tranny is weak. That would be the first thing i did with it. Believe me, its better than replacing a tranny!aparently they run under 200 dollars which is a damn good deal. the 1-2 shifts are killer. also they have a tendency to launch plugs through the heads due to very little thread on the plug holes. According to Rich D, they ficed this in the 03's but from 99-02 its a problem. Its easily prevented. Just make sure u check your plugs every 6 months or so, just to make sure they are tight!
