what can I fit under my fox body for tire size? maximum width or close, and on my 8 inch rim, will a 255 fit?
I run 225 now, let me know if any of u guys have used DR's for sale, I went to the track last night instead of Saturday, met up with this guy FASTDOG with a Z06, he ran a 12.9 for his first time at the track.
I shaved a tenth in that hot humid ass weather, with a couple mph.
last recorded time in Janurary at track day was 13.9 at 98 mph, this time last night was 13.8 at 100 mph with 7 lights all night long, gotta work on the lights a lil more, but for not goin to a track in like 4 month's shaving a tenth and gaining two more mph in our hot ass muggy weather is cool.
I beat an 03 cobra, lol , yea he didn't know how to drive, so thats why but it was fun playing catch up when he missed 3rd gear and all I heard was a backfire .
I started creeping on him, then he punched it and then I was watching him walk away ,Again haha...

well until I get som DR's I aint goin back, my street tires hooked pretty nice but this was a 2nd gear power brake for butnout and this is the only way to heat em, 1st gear just dont make enough spin with 3.73s lol

I have cut 2 flat before but that was tracday in Janurary, better weather and tires lol.
so if I get some BFG's soon I will be back......
o and RT was .753 I know it blows! but hey, first time to the track since like 3 month's ago and if ure not there all the time working on the technique u get sloppy.
I hear ure not even supposed to see green at all,I guess if ure car is fast enough then u can leave the tree on yellow and jusdt when its about to switch ure haulin ass and have already passed the tree, but my car cant cut that yet lol.
the best light I have ever cut was a .533

That's correct. Your best bet is to leave when you see the last yellow. Especially if you are running on radial tires.

well the way somone explained it to me they said u shouldn't see it at all, it just kinda sounded like even when u take off u shouldn't see green, well maybe thats possible if the car is fast enough.
But yea, I do leave on last yellow, just a lil slower than I should.
