Default Good place to rebuild engine

I friend of mine has a 97 cobra and broke a rod last week. Its supercharged so he wants to put in better rods and forged pistons. Any suggestions for shops in the tampabay area? He's got it at FordSpeed right now but they are pretty busy and it may be awhile before they get to his car. He talked to IdleWild but I guess Dan wanted to put in a remaufactured engine.

Thanks,
Barry

Why doesn't he just get a DSS bottom end? Less down time and probably more cost effective.

I'd just leave it at Fordspeed, at least it will get done right there.

Sorry, we've been real busy at the shop the last 2-3 weeks building engines. We've got two 306's, two 347's, a SBC, a BBC, and a BBF . The engine is out of the Cobra, on an engine stand, and disassembled. We plan on talking with the owner on Monday to see which direction he wants to go with repairs.
