Local source for aftermarket hoods?
Looking for the Cobra R hood for my 94. I think that is the 4" cowl. Anyone in the Tampa area sell them?

On a real "R" hood it's about 3.5 inches. I had one on my car and bought it from Dan at IdleWild. They are pricey piece, but worth every penny. I'm sure Joe can lead you in the right direction though.

I liked the one herrecomestrouble has on his car. I guess Cody said it was a RR hood. R or RR would be fine. It will definately help dissipate some of the underhood heat the turbo makes.

The one I had was made by HO Fibertrends Mike. They are the company that made them for Ford for the '95 Cobra R. The hood was a direct bolt on and paint, I didn't have to pay for prepping at all.

Kaenan makes the hoods for all the shops that sell hoods in this area that I know of. Very nice fit and not too much fitment needed. Only difference you'll find are the prices.
