I guess I'm just tryin to say it could get expensive. what year is the tranny? has it been rebuit before?

I didnt drive it but maybe 600miles after I started having problems but I drove it for almost 2 years w/o using my clutch to shift(rev. matching) not to mention I think I waited to long to service it.

D&D Performance
1st gear: $70
2nd gear: $70
rebuild kit: $159
total with shipping: $329 or something like that, and i have to say Don Walsh is one of the nicest guys i've had the pleasure to do business with.
before you buy a new one pull the tailshaft and cover off yours. check the wear on the teeth and the dogs that engage the sliders to the gears.
