i'd go with something with a proven setup.............. like holley, or edelbrock or trick flow...........

and as far as the 5.0 intakes go, the base is the most restrictive part, so upgrading the top only wont add any real power until you do the base..............

the upper is fine it is the lower that doesnt flow, and if you want a cheap intake like that goto AE they have some there for the same price but i would rather port the lower or spend the extra hundred or so.

We've got one at the shop that a customer supplied us with to install on the engine we are assembling for him. Looks very cheap if you ask me.

ok thanks alot for your help fellas. ive been checkin ebay for a nice set of gt40p's or ported e7's ... if any of you know of a set of either for sale, let me know and gimme a price.

o and fordman, a used upper and lower gt40 intake for CHEAP? show me the light brother, i cant seem to find them.

and where are the casting numbers for the e7 heads, because i bought my mustang a few years ago and i cant figure out what heads are on it, and they definately arent e7's ... i had u take a look them joe and u couldnt tell me either. ive been procrastinating to see what kind of heads are in, but righ tnow i have spark plugs for a 92 ford wagon in there, because that's wut knd of plugs were in there to begin with. the reason the car has different heads is because there is a possibility this car was put together from another wrecked fox body. anyway, let me know f u can help.

I've got a set of GT-40P's at the shop with some Motorsport shorty headers ready to bolt on. Give me a call. They're just sitting on the shelf collecting dust.

I've also got a camshaft to go along with the heads if interested. Got my car in the 11's with this stuff.
