Well weighed the pig today...
Decided to drive to the dump and hop on the scale. The lady asked me "what you got?" I said just some branches.
So with the skinnies on and 15x8's in the rear with 1/4 tank of gas she tipped the scales at an even 3250! :o Needless to say I'm calling Jenny Craig to get my car down a few hundred.
-Mark
EDIT: The car weighed 3300 with stock rims and tires. 3250 with the convo pros.

At race weight, my car is 2910 with driver. That's with me having to add 18 gallons of fuel just to make weight. I figure without me, adding a complete tubular K-member set-up, and draining some of the gas, I can get the actual car weight down to about 2600. :o

Mark that sounds pretty light to me. Remember those scales don't really car what you weigh, they just care what the difference is on the way in and the way out. If you REALLY want to know what it weighs, take it to 301 and I-4 to the truck stop, they have certified CAT scales.
Yah, my friend's 95gt weighed 3250-3275 with a full tubular k member/control arms, ac removed, etc. But he does have a cage in it and the leather seats still... So you're probably closer to 3350-3400...

I think it might be right. My manual says 3415 as curb weight. So here's how I think it's pretty accurate
3415- stock weight
-50 - difference in rim/tire weight(convo pros)
-15 - No front sway bar and mounts
-8 - Mooseball removed
-35 -spare tire and jack removed
-7 -difference between alum driveshaft and stock one
______
3300lbs. I would imagine it's within atleast 30lbs or so. -Mark

In preparation for Friday's festivities: Tru racerz kno carbin fyber makes you lizight. Call mah boyz at Pepboyz. They be hookin you up wit some hot APC shizzle. Make dat Muztang fast n furiouz dawg.
Pretty sure a few companies out there make a carbon fiber replacement hood for the SN-95. Could help you shed a few more lbs...but if you leave it unpainted we're all going to laugh at you.
Eliminating the rear seats should shed a few lbs if you don't mind losing the ability to carry around two extra passengers...plus it is FREE weight savings! You may also want to look into getting the Dynabat equivalent battery and throwing it in the trunk. Not much of a weight savings, but every little bit adds up.
